I wonder if this pantry could also store away glasses, plates, bowls etc. eliminating the need for overhead cabinets. It's not that I don't like overhead cabinets, however in a small kitchen no cabinets gives the illusion of more space.

10" Hallway Pantry
I'm really loving the idea of a hallway pantry. My current pantry is quite deep and I find I only use what's in the front 30cm on a regular basis. Everything else beyond 30cm is forgotten about and long (and I mean LONG) out of date.
